Memories - Ctrl C , Ctrl X or Ctrl V???
It has been a long time since I have posted anything. Even now, I am still wondering about what to write on.....Lets say I write about “Memories” – about both the practical stuff and some imaginary stuff.
Everybody has memories - some are good and some are bad. (Such a cliche starting....but this was the first sentence that came to my mind when I thought about memories.)
Isn't it a wonder how the mind remembers so many things? Each day adds on to new things, but still the mind has space for more with each passing day.
How does the mind stack up all this? Given a choice, I wish there was a device by the use of which I could format my memories. Why were we not given a choice as to choose which memories should be stacked up in our hearts? At the end of each day, we could sit back, go over our actions and deeds for the day and then choose the save or delete button for each memory.(I don’t want the edit button here ‘cause authenticity has a charm of its own.) Oh man!!! That sounds fun but may be a bit tedious. How the world would have been under such a scenario!!!!
Well, that’s anyways not the case. On the more practical side, I would say memories are something that drives us. What could be more pleasant than chatting with friends about things that we did or did not do or could have done in the past? I agree some experiences would be bad to reminiscent about but these prove more valuable in the long run as they teach us a lot.
That’s all that my mind could think of. This is an ad hoc article, never thought about these things. So the edit button has not been used much.
On a final note, since today is Republic day, I would like to wish all the readers of my blog “Happy Republic Day”. Hail India.
