Have you changed! Why not?
"The only thing that is constant is change".This is a famous quote by some philosopher and how right he could be!
Even the colour of the trees change during fall. When you come to think about it, tell me one thing that is constant around you. The static things like furniture, clothes etc wear out.So one can rightly say that it has changed in some way. Maybe our names? but not everybody calls you by the same name. They may give you a pet name or some name just to make fun of you.
When everything around us changes, can we rightly say that people don't change? They do but few people accept the fact. In some cases, we may try hard not to change..but I believe time takes care of it. Since this seems to be so natural what defies me is why do people want to change others? Why should there be an effort to change others for good or for bad..'cause change is something that is gradual and definite. The only thing to be considered, if at all, is how long it takes a person to change.
When we want some people to change we "let them be". With the world and society having enough demands on how to change a person to suit their incomprehensible needs, the least we can do is to let people be as they are. Time will take care of rest.

"Athidi"
- A telugu movie starring Mahesh Babu and Amrita Rao
What happens when you hit an electric pole?
I would definitely end up in the hospital with a fracture..or atleast a swelling, considering the fact that it may have been made of some dubious material. But not "Mahesh Babu"...The Athidi..the super star.He has the power to bring electric sparks right of those wires hanging overhead and make them shower like flowers on the villian and his friends.I guess I was sleeping in the physics class when they taught about the laws of electricity.
The drunken scene is a first by that actor..i guess it would have been better if he and the director as well, had been drunk while shooting that scene. Coming to his counter part the heroine, i keep wondering what is her purpose in the movie....To provide a lighter for the hero whenever he wants to take a puff?A big Q - the girl was present when her parents are killed by a physco but she doesnt witness that..She only sees that part when the guy is holding the gun (but she never notices him trying to kill the killer). So the guy killed her parents..As simple as 2+2 =4?
The guy who did put on some weight but ended up unable to dance, the girl without a purpose in the movie except for getting saved by the guy innumerable number of times, the villian whom nobody can catch(this definitely includes the police and the government) but gets a call from ICICI bank in the climax and all the other actors who seemed to have participated in this movie just for the sake of money...This is what Athidi is all about...God save those who decided to watch this movie. One incomprehensible fact is how could such a movie be rated as average when it deserves nothing but a 0. I have been quite a fan of that actor but believe me couldnot digest this stuff.
One thing to watch out for in the movie is the hair styles. Not only of the hero(it cost 50 lakhs after all) but of all the other companions of the main goons. Hillarious and gross!I would say do not watch this movie even if someone offers you free tickets but you need to see it just to know how bad it could be.

My impression on Las Vegas
The first thing that i felt when we reached the Las Vegas is the heat. I do understand that it is a desert but aren't deserts supposed to be colder at night? cause the sand is supposed to cool down quickly(unless I got my physics wrong).Somehow I did survive the heat. But the lasting impression of Vegas is that of lights. The whole city is lighted at night, which brings to mind the age old adage "All that glitters is not gold". After just a couple of days i got tired of the lights.
Its a completely different culture, with a bold style and architectural excellence. Where else can you see a casino(The Venetian) where the design is such that even though its night outside, its day within. Which made me wonder whether the diners were having their lunch instead of dinner!!!. They call it a strip but it seems to extend like a sprawling city due to the huge casinos. Even three days is not enough to cover all of it.They say Vegas is all about gambling which could have been fun but for the smoky environment. It made my stomach churn.People with such sensitive nasal capabilities as mine can hardly survive in those gambling floors.Ever participated in Treasure hunt? No worries. You just have to park your car in one of the casinos and when are actually able to get back to it, it will be the best treasure that you could possibly have hunted for. The casinos are designed such that the elevators for the parking lots and that for the rooms are in different directions(have no idea on how to co relate those directions).
Heard that everything is legal so all that is a strict no-no for most of us is easily available on its streets. Getting drunk is easier than quenching your thirst.(hold on! i mean thirst for water). Everything is bracketed under one word viz. entertainment. All in all, i believe that the city should be visited at least once. Either you love it or you don't. There is nothing in between I guess . Bold style,Massive structures, extreme heat and architectural intellect are the words that i would forever associate with this place called Las Vegas.

My first business trip
When i was asked to go to Dublin I had no idea that it was such a small place which doesn't even have a airport. Some people said that it was named as such cause Irish people inhabit this place in great numbers and were so homesick that they decided to have their own Ireland right here and named it as Dublin after the Irish capital Dublin.the place is good, quiet and beautiful. It will surely help those who have a nervous breakdown to get back to their senses. But it sure is a lovely place for those who love nature.Haven't seen such narrow roads anywhere, just two lanes which just enables the cars to pass by without scratching each other. Of course its a different matter that the traffic is so less that the possibility of such occurrences is eventually very less. The main purpose of coming here was the work, we were pushed to Dublin myself in two days notice with the expectation that we will perform something close to miracles. The best solution for passing system test cases was to have all the developers, testers, analysts and everyone else in one big room .Such a big crazy room with wires all over(as most of didn't have wireless laptops), people shouting at each other, collecting status every half hour, escalating for every defect and staring at their monitor. Some people simply stared at their monitor as they had nothing better to do but they definitely had to perform some magic.Even the lunch was served here as we will loose some precious hours if we even step out of the room. But the whole team, representatives of the swat call actually went out for a team treat twice!!!! celebrating future success(borrowed this term from one of the leaders of the swat call). After about four days in this room, i am now trying hard to collect back my senses from whatever is left behind, preventing myself from breaking down and counting days for my flight back to Denver.Of course I do have a refuge even in Dublin, I actually started liking my hotel room as it was so peaceful except for the continuous hum of the AC. The sad part is in order to pursue my commitments I ended up going to the hotel room just to give some rest to my tired brain which was expected to do wonders but practically didn't have much to do.The best part of this trip is that I like Denver even more.
P.S. no offence meant for Dublin. wrote this to test the my abilities when the pen touches paper. (In today's world when the fingers touch the keyboard)
