NIGHT

The lake was sparkling with moonlight,

lightning had the sky alight,

stars were sparkling bright,

trees were swaying with delight,

I was lying gazing into the night,

reliving the day's moments,

mind full of thoughts,

yet,joy filled the heart

and serenity prevailed the night
